Partner/Distributor Managers:
Partner/Distributor Managers are Internal Users assigned to Partner and Distributor Organizations as Managers for the purpose of managing the Profiles, Deals, Leads, Business Plans, and MDF Requests of the Partners and Distributors they are assigned to as Manager. Region Managers:
(Settings > Portal Configuration > Region Settings)
Region Managers are Internal Users assigned to Regions solely for Deal Registration purposes and may optionally be used to provide more targeted Deal access for Internal Users by restricting their visibility to Deals associated with their assigned Regions through the Internal Group permissions below:
- Deal Registration Region Manager: Based on the location of the Partner and Distributor Organization. This permission ensures Users only have access to the Deals of Partners and Distributors located in the Region(s) they are assigned to as Manager.
- Deal Registration Account Region Manager: Based on the end-user/customer Account location, Users will only have access to Deals that have end-user Accounts located in the Region(s) they are assigned to as Manager.

In addition to permissions, the Region Manager functionality also includes Region-specific Deal Email Notifications.

Yes, Internal Users can be assigned to Partner and Distributor Organizations as Managers as well as Regions.
Can Users be assigned to more than one Region?
Yes, Internal Users can be assigned to multiple Regions.
Can Users be assigned to more than one Partner or Distributor as Manager?
Yes, Internal Users can be assigned to multiple Organizations as Managers, but only one can be flagged as the Primary Manager.
Can the Deal Region Manager functionality be used to automate the assignment of Deals to Region Managers?
The Deal Region Manager functionality does not include the ability to automate the assignment of Deals to Region Managers. However, for a workaround, you can use our Zapier connector to automate the assignment.
Can the Manager functionality be used to automate the assignment of Deals to Managers?
Yes, you can enable the below setting in the Deal Registration Module Settings (Settings > Deal Registration > Deal Registration Module Settings) to automate the assignment of Deals to the Primary Manager assigned to the Partner or Distributor Organization.
