By default, Channeltivity's PRM software doesn't allow you to assign anything to Pending Users. There are, however, situations where you might want to assign a Lead (or Deal Registration or MDF Request) to someone who hasn't activated their account yet, so your partner portal can be configured to allow assignment to Pending Users. Here's how:

  1. Go to Settings > Portal Configuration > General Portal Settings
  2. Check the "Display pending Users in other modules" box
  3. Pending Users will now be included in all assignment dropdowns.

Can I assign Leads/Deals/MDF Requests to Contacts?

No. Leads/Deals/MDF Requests can only be assigned to Users, because Contacts do not have access to the system until they are promoted to Users by an Admin.
