By design, Deals created in HubSpot through the integration are not automatically assigned to a Pipeline and Stage unless you’ve mapped Channeltivity’s built-in Deal Stage field to HubSpot’s built-in Deal Stage field.

Important Considerations Before Mapping Deal Stages:
Channeltivity’s built-in Stage field is visible/editable by Partners and Distributors. If the field is set to sync bi-directionally, any changes made by Partners/Distributors in Channeltivity will push to HubSpot, which could affect your forecasting accuracy in HubSpot.
Using multiple Pipelines in HubSpot? If your linked Deals span more than one Pipeline, you’ll need to add those extra Stage values to Channeltivity’s Deal Stage field and match them accordingly to avoid sync errors.
Prefer Not to Map the Fields to Each Other?
If you prefer to avoid mapping the fields to one another due to the risks mentioned above, you can automate the assignment of Deals to a specific Pipeline and Stage upon creation using one of the following HubSpot Automation Workflows:
OPTION 1: Map the "Record URL" OR "Record Status" system fields in Channeltivity to a single-line text field on the Deal in HubSpot and create ONE of the below workflows using ONE of the fields:
- If the "Record URL" is known and the Pipeline is unknown, set the Deal property pipeline and stage to...(insert your Pipeline & Stage value).
- If the "Record Status" is known and the Pipeline is unknown, set the Deal property pipeline and stage to...(insert your Pipeline & Stage value).
OPTION 2: Use the "Sync with Channeltivity" checkbox to create the workflow below:
- If the "Sync with Channeltivity" field is known and the Pipeline is unknown, set the Deal property pipeline and stage to...(insert your Pipeline & Stage value).
