Partners will use the Deal Sales Stage field to indicate where they are in the Deal's sales cycle. You can edit and create new Stages and add stage-specific content/instructions to each Stage to help Partners better sell your products.
New Deal/ Opportunity Stages:
- Go to Settings > Deal Registration > Deal Sales Stages.
- Click the "New Deal Sales Stage" button.
- Create the Stage name.
- Select probability.
- Add stage-specific content/ instructions to help Partners work the Deal in the Sales Stage.
Edit an existing Deal/Opportunity Stage:
- Click the "Actions" button to the right of the Stage that you want to edit.
- Select Edit.
- You can also delete Stages that you do not need using the Actions button, but you are required to have one of each of the following Stage types: Open, Closed: Won, and Closed: Lost.
