There are a number of ways to create a folder structure in your Resource Library and based on the portals of many of our customers the prevailing top-level structure looks like this:

  • Marketing Resources
  • Sales Resources
  • Developer Assets
  • Training
  • Newsletters
  • Collateral
  • Agreements
  • Partner Portal User Guide
  • Partner Program Info

Depending on your channel program, your document library may look different. If you have a large number of documents, creating logical sub-folders can make it easier to stay organized and find content quickly. At the end of the day, what is most important is that you make it easy for your partners to find the resources they need.  Make your document library easy to use and you will see partners come back for resources again.

Remember, when it comes to the channel, simplicity always wins.
