How Do I Create and Manage SPIFF Campaigns?

Modified on Wed, 26 Nov at 2:48 PM

***You must create Campaigns before Partners and Distributors can submit SPIFF Claims. You must also add SPIFF access to your Partner and Distributor Groups to grant them access to the module.***

The Campaigns feature in the SPIFF module allows you to define SPIFF-eligible activities, specify Claim amounts, and set timeframes. You can also control access through permissions, ensuring that only Users with the appropriate permissions can view or submit Claims for specific Campaigns.

Follow the steps below to create a new SPIFF Campaign:

  1. In the left navigation menu, select SPIFF > Campaigns.
  2. Click the + New button to create a new Campaign.
  3. On the New Campaign page, enter the following data:
    • Title - The name of the SPIFF Campaign (e.g., Fast-Track Close Reward).
    • Description - Provide a brief summary of the incentive, including eligibility details and any requirements.
    • Amount - Add the incentive amount that {artners will receive for qualifying Claims.
    • Code (optional) - Enter a short identifier for internal tracking (e.g., FastTrack, Q4Boost, CloseWon500).
  4. Set Permissions: Under Permissions & Visibility, choose who can submit SPIFF Claims related to that specific Campaign:
    • Everyone -  All Users assigned to a Group that includes access to the SPIFF module SPIFF
    • Selected Groups - Only Users in the selected Groups.
    • Smart Permissions - All Users that match the rules that you specify
    • No one - Only Admin Users and Internal Users with administrative permissions to the current module

    5.  You can also optionally set:

  • Viewable From - The date the Campaign becomes available for selection on the Claim submission form.

  • Viewable Until - The date when availability ends.

    6.  Finally, select a Publish Status:

  • Published - Adds the Campaign to the Claim submission for selection.

  • Hidden - Keeps it in draft mode until you're ready to add it to the form.

Editing an Existing SPIFF Campaign:

Once published, you can edit existing Campaigns by going to SPIFF > Campaigns and clicking on the Campaign you wish to edit to view its details. You'll then click the Edit button in the top right to make your changes.

Unpublishing a SPIFF Campaign:

You can unpublish a Campaign, which will remove it from the SPIFF Claim form by going to SPIFF > Campaigns and clicking on the name of the Campaign you wish to unpublish. You'll then click the caret icon next to the Edit button > Unpublish or click the ellipsis icon (three dots) in the top right corner of the Publish Status card > Unpublish.
