Channeltivity includes full support for SAML 2.0 (Security Assertion Markup Language, an open standard for single sign-on) and can be configured both as a SAML Identity Provider (IdP) and Service Provider (SP). The following articles provide the details:


There are also two legacy SSO methods that are no longer recommended and may be removed at a future point:

  1. Outgoing SSO is a proprietary method to allow your users to seamlessly log into external applications from within Channeltivity without having to enter a username or password. 
  2. Incoming SSO is another proprietary method that is used when you have an existing system and want your users to access Channeltivity without having to enter their username or password.
