Channeltivity includes a standard set of fields for Partner Organization records and the Become a Partner Form. However, you can add custom fields to other areas, such as those listed below, to capture more information:
- Partner Overview/Details Page:
- Partner Profile Page:
- Become a Partner Form:
NOTE: The fields can also be mapped to the Account object in Salesforce and the Company entity in HubSpot via the Partner Sync integration.
Configuring Partner Organization Custom Fields
To add a field, go to Settings > User & Organization Fields > Partner Organization Custom Fields.
- Click Add Field
- Name your field
- Select a field type from the drop-down menu.
- Add a description (optional but recommended).
- Configure the Field's Visibility & Interaction settings: This section allows you to control who can see, edit, or is required to complete the custom field, as well as its availability for integrations. Each column represents a different area of the system where the field may appear.
- Internal View: The field is visible and editable by Internal Users. It can also be configured to be required.
- Internal View - Partner Overview & Profile Pages: By default, custom fields appear on both the Partner Overview and Partner Profile pages for Internal Users. If you'd like the field to display on only one of the pages, you can hide it from the other by setting its Visibility to "Hidden."
- Partner View: Set Partner User access for the field using these options:
- Visible - Partners can view the field.
- Editable - Partners can view and edit the field.
- Required - Partners must fill out the field before saving any changes they've made to their Organization record.
- Become a Partner Form: Specify whether the field will be included on the Become a Partner Form and if it's required using the following options:
- Editable - Individuals can view and edit the field
- Required - The field must be populated before the form can be submitted.
- Hidden- The field is hidden from the Become a Partner Form.
- API & Integrations: Specify how the field interacts with integrations (e.g., Salesforce and HubSpot Partner Sync Integrations) and the API.
- Editable: Allows the field to be set or updated through integrations and the API. The field is optional by default and does not need to be populated in Channeltivity for the data to be submitted.
- Required: The field must be populated before data can be successfully submitted via integrations or the API.
- Internal View: The field is visible and editable by Internal Users. It can also be configured to be required.
- Click OK and repeat the process for any additional fields you want to add.

After adding all of your custom fields, you can separate the fields into sections by clicking the Add Section link (optional). You can also reorder fields and sections by hovering over the item you wish to move and dragging it into the desired location on the page.
If you need to edit or delete a field, hover your mouse over the field and select one of the options to the far right.
When you are finished making all of your changes, click Save to save your changes.
