You can add additional fields in the MDF Custom Fields settings using the instructions listed below:

Adding a Custom Field

  1. Go to Settings > MDF > MDF Request Custom Fields.
  2. Click "Add Field."

 MDF Request Custom Fields

3. Name your MDF Field.
4. Set the Field Type.
5. Update the Description.
6. Configure the Field's Visibility & Interaction settings: This section allows you to control who can see, edit, or is required to complete the custom field, as well as its availability for integrations. Each column represents a different User type: Internal, Partner & Distributor, and API & Integrations.

For each User type, you can set one of the following interaction levels:

  • Hidden - The field is not visible to the User (This setting only applies to the Partner & Distributor view; hidden fields remain visible to Internal Users by default)
  • Visible - The field is visible to the User
  • Editable - The User can view and modify the field
  • Required - The User must complete the field before submitting the form

7. Click "OK."
8. Repeat until your Custom MDF Fields have been added.
10. Click "Save."
